VIN Watch Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information VIN Watch, made by Iron Ladder LLC ("we", "us"), collects and what happens to it. The short version: VIN Watch has no accounts and no servers. Your check history stays on your iPhone, and only your check totals go to Apple Game Center for the leaderboards.

VIN Watch does not sell personal information, does not show ads, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Information Stored On Your iPhone

VIN Watch keeps the following on your iPhone only:

• The time of each check you log, whether counted by your Shortcuts automation, the widget, or the "I checked again" button.
• The medals you have earned, and your streaks.
• Your order date and delivery status, only if you choose to enter them.
• Your app settings.

This information is shared between the app, its widget, and its Shortcuts action on the same iPhone. It is never sent to us. We do not run a server for VIN Watch, so we cannot see it, recover it, or delete it for you. Deleting the app deletes it.

Information Sent To Apple Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, VIN Watch submits your daily and lifetime check totals as leaderboard scores. Those totals are visible to other Game Center players along with your Game Center name and picture.

If you allow it, VIN Watch also reads your Game Center friends list so it can show how your totals compare with your friends'. You can decline this, and the rest of the app still works.

Game Center is run by Apple, and your Game Center data is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy. You can manage your Game Center profile, friends, and data in the Settings app.

What VIN Watch Does Not Collect

VIN Watch does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifier. It does not connect to your Tesla account, collect your VIN, or read any vehicle or order data. It does not use analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising tools.

Shortcuts

The "Log a Check" Shortcuts automation runs on your iPhone. It only tells VIN Watch that the Tesla app was opened. It does not read anything inside the Tesla app.

Notifications

If you turn them on, VIN Watch sends medal alerts as local notifications created on your iPhone. No notification server is involved, and you can turn them off at any time in the Settings app.

Children

VIN Watch is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your Choices

• Stop sending scores by signing out of Game Center or turning off Game Center for VIN Watch in the Settings app.
• Remove your friends-list permission in the Settings app.
• Delete your check history by deleting the app.

Changes To This Policy

If VIN Watch ever starts collecting something new, we will update this policy and the date at the top of this page before the change ships.
