VIN Watch Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Iron Ladder LLC ("we", "us"), the maker of VIN Watch. They govern your use of VIN Watch, the iPhone app, its widget, Live Activity, and Shortcuts action. By downloading or using VIN Watch, you agree to these Terms and to the VIN Watch Privacy Policy.

Not Affiliated With Tesla

VIN Watch is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. "Tesla" is a trademark of Tesla, Inc. and is used here only to describe what the app counts.

VIN Watch does not connect to your Tesla account, does not read your order, and cannot tell you anything about your car or your delivery. For real order information, use the Tesla app.

What VIN Watch Does

VIN Watch counts how many times you check on your car order, awards medals, and ranks you on Game Center leaderboards. It is meant for fun. Counts depend on a Shortcuts automation you set up yourself and on the "I checked again" button, so they may be incomplete or wrong, for example if the automation is turned off or iOS does not run it.

Game Center

Leaderboards and friends use Apple Game Center. Your Game Center account, name, and friends list are managed by Apple under Apple's own terms. Your daily and lifetime check totals are visible to other players on the leaderboards.

Acceptable Use

Do not tamper with the app or Game Center to post fake scores, interfere with the leaderboards, reverse engineer the app except where that right cannot be waived by law, or use the app for anything unlawful. Scores that look manipulated may be removed.

Price

VIN Watch is free to download. If paid features are ever added, their price and terms will be shown before you buy, and purchases will be handled by Apple.

Your Data

VIN Watch has no accounts. Your check history stays on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes that history. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimers And Limitation Of Liability

VIN Watch is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that counts, streaks, medals, or rankings will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Apple

These Terms are between you and the developer of VIN Watch, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also follow the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use VIN Watch after that means you accept the change.
